We transformed a classic Devonport villa into a modern family haven.
The renovation journey began when Debbie + Paul approached us with a vision that had previously seemed out of reach due to budget constraints. Our team's unique Quantity Surveyor (QS) approach provided the cost certainty they needed to move forward confidently.
Debbie + Paul's goal was to create a mature, welcoming space that would serve their family's evolving needs, particularly with their teenagers on the cusp of leaving school.
Our comprehensive renovation included exterior remedial work to preserve the villa's classic façade, a complete interior overhaul of the single-level main floor, and the transformation of the lower level into a contemporary living space and teenage retreat. We managed all aspects of the renovation – from demolition and construction, to painting, decorating, plumbing, and electrical – excluding the kitchen, which was designed and installed by Chroma Interiors.
Standout features include a striking kitchen with a bold granite centrepiece, and a bathroom adorned with eye-catching herringbone tiles. These elements exemplify the successful marriage of modern design with the home's historical roots.
Despite facing a setback with building consent that added an extra month to the timeline, we maintained open communication with our clients and efficiently reallocated resources. This flexibility allowed for a seamless continuation once approvals were secured.
This Devonport villa renovation stands as a testament to our commitment to quality craftsmanship and a client-focused service. By preserving the home's character while infusing modern functionality, we've created a space that will be cherished for generations to come.
