Completed in July 2024, this winter renovation took place over a span of two months and focused on enhancing the café's interior, creating an atmosphere that perfectly balances comfort and style.

The renovation encompassed several key elements:

‍Integrated Seating: A custom-built bench seat was installed along the back wall, providing cozy seating for patrons.

‍Serving Bar: A new serving bar was constructed, featuring eye-catching tiled surfaces accented with brass trimming.

‍Mobile Serving Solution: A rolling table was crafted to appear fixed, offering flexibility in the café's layout while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.

‍Custom Cafe Tables: Bespoke café tables were built to complement the overall design.

Project Challenges and Triumphs

The success of The Alderman café's renovation was made possible through collaboration with the owners, Donna + Shaun, who designed the space, along with our trusted subcontractors Protile, Ilguappo, and Granite Kitchens, who lent their expertise to various aspects of the project, ensuring a high-quality finish throughout.

While the renovation process was relatively straightforward, our team faced the challenge of working around the café's operating hours, requiring careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to the business.
